At National Locums, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) to join our esteemed healthcare team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to our patients, utilising their extensive clinical expertise and advanced practice skills. As an ENP, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services, managing patient caseloads, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

  1. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and history taking, to inform accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  2. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals.
  3. Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with regulatory guidelines, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
  4. Provide expert advice and education to patients and their families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their healthcare.
  5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research, contributing to the advancement of emergency nursing practice.
Requirements

We are looking for a registered nurse with current NMC registration, holding a Master's degree in Emergency Practice Nursing or equivalent. A minimum of 3 years' experience as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner is essential, along with strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously.
