About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Bar Stores Operator to join our dynamic team at Spirax-Sarco Engineering. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the storage, stocktaking, and issuing of materials from our department's storage area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the storage and organization of materials in the warehouse
  • Conduct regular stocktakes to ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Issue materials to production teams as required
  • Saw off materials for manufacturing in the company's machine shop
  • Receive and identify incoming materials

Requirements:

  • Engineering background preferred
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Understanding of imperial and metric measurement systems
  • Forklift truck license desirable
  • Experience working with stainless steels and other metals
