Compliance Officer for Traffic Management Operations in South East England

At The Clancy Group, we are seeking an experienced Traffic Management Compliance Officer to join our team based in Rochester. This role is ideal for a professional with a background in traffic management who is looking to expand their skills and expertise.

Main Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for an individual who can plan and conduct internal audits of traffic management sites across the South East region to ensure compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and the National Highway Sector Scheme (NHSS).
  • This involves providing guidance and support to teams where necessary, investigating reasons for non-conformances, preparing reports for senior management, and managing non-conformances to closure.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining an audit database, tracking remedial actions, and coordinating continual improvement projects.
  • Site visits with clients to enable upcoming projects or schemes and performing compliance checks on streetworks, vehicles, yards, and paperwork will also be part of this role.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A full understanding of NRSWA, ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, and awareness of ISO45001, National Highway Sector Scheme transition requirements, and timescales are essential for this role.
  • An operational background in traffic management with a change-seeking mindset or experience working in the compliance space is required.
  • A full driving license is mandatory for this position.
