About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Accounting Specialist to join our Group Compensation Accounting team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of payroll data is maintained within our internal systems through our monthly reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Payroll Data Validation: Validate and reconcile payroll data, including salaries, wages, bonuses, benefits, and deductions, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  2. Reconciliation and Analysis: Reconcile payroll tax calculations, including Income Tax, National Insurance contributions, and pension contributions, against the payroll system.
  3. Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies or errors in payroll data, including incorrect pay or benefits allocations.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with HR teams globally to ensure accurate processing and posting of share and fund award exercises.
  5. Process Improvement: Identify and implement ways to streamline processes to minimize manual intervention.
  6. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly payroll journals for UK, America, and APAC regions, and payroll correction journals including intercompany recharges for cross-border payments.
Requirements
  1. Finance or Accounting Background: Experience working in a Finance or reconciliations function, with a qualification in Finance or Accounting.
  2. Technical Skills: Strong Excel knowledge is a requirement, with experience of Oracle Fusion / SDWorx and Financial Services being advantageous.
