Senior Accountancy Manager

ProTalent Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountancy Manager to join their team in Horsham. As a leading accountancy firm in West Sussex, they offer a wide range of services including specialist accountancy, taxation, payroll, advisory, and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and personal tax.
- Take responsibility for accounting, tax, and business planning, ensuring clients receive the best possible service.
- Lead and mentor teams to deliver high-quality services to clients, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with assistant managers and trainee accountants to coordinate and review work, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
- Prepare complex year-end accounts, management accounts, and VAT returns, ensuring compliance with financial reporting and accounting standards.
- Review and analyze accounts and business plans, providing expert advice and guidance to clients.
- Liaise directly with HMRC as required, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of any issues.
- Compile reports, budget plans, commentaries, and financial statements, providing valuable insights to clients.
- ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong knowledge of accounting for SMEs, including corporate tax, VAT, PAYE, and personal tax.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
