Finance Role Overview


The Londoner, a hotel that embodies the essence of a chic boutique, is seeking a skilled Assistant Food and Beverage Cost Controller to join its team. This role is a critical part of the hotel's finance department, responsible for controlling and reconciling food and beverage costs in accordance with Edwardian Hotels London standards.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Control and reconcile food and beverage costs through analysis, requisitions, controls, margins, and sales targets.
  • Ensure orders are based on usage, stock turnover, and Cost of Sales Budgetary limits.
  • Verify Food and Beverage Invoices, Delivery Notes, and Requisition Notes for compliance with Edwardian Hotels London procedures.
  • Assist the F&B Cost Controller in daily input of invoices, purchase orders, and requisition notes, producing management information for better decision making.

Requirements:


  • Three years' experience in food and beverage stock unit management.
  • A record of demonstrable personal achievement with proven management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to liaise effectively with non-financial staff.
  • Team player with outstanding inter-personal, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Client-focused approach to work.
  • IT literate.
