Design Management Team Lead

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Design Management Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Design Management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing design projects across the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage design projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement design management tools and procedures to improve project efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design projects meet client requirements and AECOM's quality standards.
  • Manage and mentor junior design management team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Contribute to business planning and development, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in design management, with a strong understanding of the design process and project programming skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and finances.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and InDesign.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
