About Pioneer Selection

We are seeking a Senior Plant Engineer to join our team at our manufacturing facility in the UK. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our plant's equipment and processes.

Job Description:
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance activities to ensure efficient operation of plant equipment.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Collaborate with production staff to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance-related issues in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor junior maintenance personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
  • Prepare and present reports on maintenance activities, including metrics on equipment performance and downtime.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
Salary:

£32,000 - £34,000 per annum.
