Quantity Surveyor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at Anderselite Ltd, a leading groundworks subcontractor specializing in groundworks for house building.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and valuations for groundworks, plot works, remediation, and bulk earthworks.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring value for money and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the project and site teams to ensure accurate measurement and valuation of work on-site.
  • Manage subcontractor payments and variations, providing accurate forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Support the project team in remediation and bulk earthworks, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the groundworks or construction sector, particularly with house-building projects.
  • Knowledge of plot works, remediation, and bulk earthworks.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of cost control and management processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
