We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at Anderselite Ltd, a leading groundworks subcontractor specializing in groundworks for house building.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to be part of a team with excellent career progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and valuations for groundworks, plot works, remediation, and bulk earthworks.
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring value for money and identifying any cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the project and site teams to ensure accurate measurement and valuation of work on-site.
- Manage subcontractor payments and variations, providing accurate forecasting and financial reporting.
- Support the project team in remediation and bulk earthworks, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the groundworks or construction sector, particularly with house-building projects.
- Knowledge of plot works, remediation, and bulk earthworks.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of cost control and management processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Competitive salary package (£30,000 - £40,000) plus additional benefits.
