About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Peripatetic Nurse to join our team at Chestnut Court. As a Peripatetic Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work across a region of care homes, providing high-quality nursing care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver, monitor, and re-evaluate care needs in partnership with residents, their key carers, family members, and the wider team at the home.
  • Liaise effectively with GPs, hospitals, and external agencies to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the care team, ensuring high standards of nursing and personal care are met.
  • Support and mentor new nurses during their induction and provide general support to existing nurses.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse, currently registered with the NMC. You will have post-registration experience, with a clear understanding of regulatory frameworks and experience in areas such as medication administration, catheterisation, and end-of-life care.
