Apprentice Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Project Manager to join our team at Phil Jones Associates Ltd & PJA Civil Engineering Ltd.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Project Managers to coordinate, manage, and control design activities on exciting multi-disciplinary development commissions from across the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Project Coordination: Assist in the management of projects, both technically and financially, in accordance with client requirements, corporate and business policies, directives, guidance, and procedures.
- Communication and Coordination: Facilitate communication, coordination, and information control with clients and within the project team, including subcontractors and partners.
- Project Delivery: Prepare and coordinate project delivery programs and delivery plans, providing regular project reports to convey cost and delivery information in a timely manner.
- Quality Assurance: Apply quality assurance and document control practices throughout project delivery.
- Change Management: Advise the Project Director/Manager on the requirements for any necessary mitigation actions to prevent delivery targets being missed and manage effective change control processes.
- Project Closure: Be involved in closing out projects on completion, archiving project documentation, updating market information, ensuring that lessons learned are captured and disseminated internally.
- Education: Degree qualified, equivalent qualification, or practical experience of working on design commissions for land delivery (residential and/or commercial) projects.
- Skills and Experience: A hard-working and flexible individual with good attention to detail, a willingness to learn, reliable, proactive, and shows initiative.
- Ability to Prioritize: Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English.
