About the Position:

We are seeking a talented and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team in Southend-On-Sea, working with students who require additional support due to SEND.

This role offers a chance to work in a supportive and inclusive environment, making a meaningful contribution to the lives of students with additional needs.

Main Tasks:
  • Provide individualised support to SEND students in a classroom or one-to-one setting
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement IEPs
  • Support students with emotional, social, and behavioural challenges
  • Work closely with parents, teachers, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each student
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience working with SEND students in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability when working with students
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Relevant qualifications or experience working with SEND students
