Medical Specialist in Neurosurgery

We are seeking two experienced SHO Trust Doctors to join our esteemed Neurosurgery team as soon as possible.
About the RoleThis is a fixed-term contract for 6 months, with potential extension of another 6 months. We are looking for candidates with some experience at junior grade (F2-ST3 level) in Neurosurgery.
The successful candidate will work primarily on the Neurosurgical ward providing general medical and neurosurgical care for the neurosurgery inpatients, with support from a dedicated ward registrar and neurosurgery Advanced Care Practitioner.
Main Responsibilities- Providing general medical and neurosurgical care for inpatients
- Undertaking a variety of ward-based procedures
- Gaining experience in theatre and outpatient clinics
The South West Neurosurgery Centre provides a comprehensive Neurosurgical Service to a large population. The unit has close links with nearby hospitals and rapid patient transfer is facilitated by air ambulances.
Successful candidates must have achieved MBBS or equivalent medical qualification, experience working within the NHS, and completion of MRCS or equivalent at time of application.
Estimated Salary Range: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum-
