Building Surveyor Job Opportunity

We are partnering with a reputable Housing Association in South Wales to recruit a Building Surveyor for a three-month contract, with potential for extension.

This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of circa. £32.00 per hour via an umbrella company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Revisit Category One properties, complete compliance checks, and progress cases as required.
  • Conduct surveys against the Housing Act 2004 Part One.
  • Identify issues related to Damp and Mould and structural problems.
  • Carry out surveys in line with HHSRS.
  • Create specifications for remedial works as needed.
  • Enforce works in line with landlords for specialist tasks.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Social Housing.
  • Experience working with customers in housing.
  • HNC/HND or equivalent qualification.
  • Full UK driving license.
Benefits:
  • Hybrid working - 50% home/office & site split.
  • Flexible working days.
