Job Title: Finance Assistant

Location: Mason Court, Hillborough Road, Olton, Solihull

Salary: £24,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-time, 12 Months Fixed Term Contract, Maternity Cover

Working Hours: 35 Hours per week

Purpose of the Role:

  • To support the Head of Finance in maintaining the financial ledgers of the Trust.
  • To facilitate the smooth operation of systems and procedures.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting:

To maintain the Purchase Ledgers on a daily basis by:

  • Matching orders and delivery notes to invoices
  • Liaising with budget holders to ensure all necessary documentation is authorised
  • Coding and posting invoices
  • Pay suppliers by BACS

We are looking for a skilled Finance Assistant to join our team at Sir Josiah Mason Trust. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial ledgers of the Trust and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Matching orders and delivery notes to invoices
