Your Responsibilities

As an Academic Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the educational journey of our Key Stage 2 pupils. You will work closely with our enthusiastic team to deliver tailored support, interventions, and confidence-boosting activities to help these young learners thrive academically and socially. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting EAL pupils with language development and comprehension">
  • Assisting in creating engaging learning materials for booster and intervention sessions">
  • Working collaboratively with teachers to implement personalized learning plans">
  • Encouraging pupils to develop independence and a love for learning">
  • Creating a nurturing environment that celebrates the rich diversity of our students">

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with children in a school setting, especially Key Stage 2">
  • A passion for working with EAL learners and an understanding of their unique needs">
