Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Engineering Manager to join our team at Stagecoach East Scotland. As a key member of our senior engineering management team, you will be responsible for delivering effective engineering support, driving forward excellent levels of safety, reliability, and presentation of our fleet, while meeting all statutory & legislative requirements.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of high-quality fleet maintenance, excellent knowledge of health & safety, environmental, and employment legislation, and an innovative, customer-focused, and commercially astute outlook. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the company's proactive and preventative maintenance regime, collaborating with colleagues to further develop the business within budgetary guidelines, and leading a team to deliver a safe and cost-effective programme of preventative maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering effective engineering support to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our fleet
- Driving forward excellent levels of safety, reliability, and presentation of our fleet while meeting all statutory & legislative requirements
- Ensuring compliance with the company's proactive and preventative maintenance regime
- Collaborating with colleagues to further develop the business within budgetary guidelines
- Leading a team to deliver a safe and cost-effective programme of preventative maintenance and repair
Requirements
- An excellent track record of high-quality fleet maintenance
- Ability to lead a team to deliver a safe and cost-effective programme of preventative maintenance and repair
- Excellent knowledge of health & safety, environmental, and employment legislation
- An innovative, customer-focused, and commercially astute outlook
- Excellent communication and analytical skills

A competitive salary of up to 50k per annum, a company car, and relocation assistance are available to the right candidate for this position.
