Job Summary:

Stagecoach East Scotland is seeking a highly skilled Fleet Engineering Manager to lead our engineering operations in the East of Scotland. As a key member of our senior engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering effective engineering support, ensuring the safety, reliability, and presentation of our fleet, and driving compliance with statutory and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a proactive and preventative maintenance regime to ensure the optimal performance of our fleet.
  • Lead a team of engineers to deliver a safe and cost-effective programme of preventative maintenance and repair.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to further develop the business within budgetary guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures, and identify opportunities for future improvement.

Requirements:

  • Excellent track record of high-quality fleet maintenance.
  • Ability to lead a team to deliver a safe and cost-effective programme of preventative maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety, environmental, and employment legislation.
  • Innovative, customer-focused, and commercially astute outlook.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
