Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance and Testing Professional to join our team at WH Scott & Son Engineers Ltd. This role will involve conducting regular maintenance and testing on heavy equipment, including cranes and lifting devices.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum

Main Responsibilities
  1. Conduct routine maintenance and testing on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Identify and report any issues or defects, making recommendations for repair or replacement as necessary.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain accurate records and develop effective maintenance schedules.
  4. Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to source replacement parts and equipment.
Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience in heavy equipment maintenance and testing.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, particularly in relation to cranes and lifting devices.
  • Ability to work at heights and in challenging environments.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
