Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our Patient Services Team as a Senior Pharmacy Technician. The successful candidate will support the Deputy Dispensary Manager in the day-to-day management of the Dispensary, ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Organize and manage the dispensary-based services, including inpatients, outpatients, TTAs, and controlled drugs, to agreed performance targets.
  • Deputise for the Deputy Dispensary Manager during periods of absence, taking responsibility for the smooth running of the dispensary and resolving problems as they arise.
  • Assist with the writing, implementation, and updating of policies and procedures specific to the dispensary service.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong knowledge of pharmacy procedures, and experience working in a busy dispensary setting. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £35,964 - £43,780 per annum, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for career development.
