About the Role
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Brand Manager, OTC to join our team. As a key member of our marketing team, you'll be responsible for executing the brand strategy to deliver commercial targets in line with business objectives. This will involve working closely with cross-functional partners, including Medical, Supply, Trade Marketing, and Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute brand strategies to drive business growth and achieve commercial targets.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to define brand propositions, positioning, and targeting for new launches and brand extensions.
- Manage and track marketing and promotional budgets, ensuring alignment with annual business objectives and key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to prepare and activate brand plans, considering the right channel mix to engage and enhance the customer experience.
- Ensure brand materials and assets are compliant with relevant codes of practice and regulations.
- Identify and recommend new product development and line extension opportunities to drive business growth and revenue.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines, identity, and assets.
- Work closely with the Medical team to achieve strong product claims and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct brand tracking, qualitative, and quantitative research to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
- Provide support to the sales team to help them achieve brand sales targets, including attendance at meetings, provision of sales presenters and presentations, and promotional materials.
- Build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximize brand sales and drive business growth.
Requirements
- Demonstrable UK experience in B2C marketing, gained ideally from consumer health, FMCG, or healthcare-related industries.
- Experience in key elements of the marketing mix, including advertising, market research, social, digital, and PR campaigns.
- High levels of attention to detail and excellent prioritizing and time management skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners.
- Educated to degree level and excellent influencer with a 'make it happen' attitude.
- Team worker and customer-oriented.
