Nugent is seeking an experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join our Facilities Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and forming new working relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the most competitive tenders for each project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site measurements of works to ensure all parties are in agreement
  • Measure and value completed work and variations in work during contracts, for agreement of interim payments and the final account
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure information, costs, profitability, and value meet the requirements of each project
  • Compile subcontract orders for approval
  • Assess subcontractor payment entitlement and process payments
  • Reconcile cost and value to date/forecast to keep the management team informed of project performance
Requirements
  • 2+ years of post-graduate experience in a QS role within the construction industry
  • Highly motivated and hard-working individual who can work independently or as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
