Electrical Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As an Electrical Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with suppliers and sub-contractors to establish and maintain competitive tenders for each project.
  • Measure and value completed work and variations for interim payments and final accounts.
  • Liaise with clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure project information, costs, profitability, and value align with requirements.
  • Assess and process subcontractor payment entitlements.
  • Reconcile cost and value to date/forecast to inform management of project performance.
  • Attend pre-contract meetings, liaise with construction professionals, and ensure timely completion of actions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within the Construction Industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must hold a clean driving licence.
  • Organised and disciplined in planning and approach to work.
