Fleet Equipment Technician

Austin Fraser is seeking a skilled Fleet Equipment Technician to join their team at a busy branch in Staffordshire. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diesel engines and industrial pumps, as well as strong diagnostic skills and excellent mechanical aptitude.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance on a fleet of diesel pumps and ancillary equipment.
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose faults efficiently.
- Carry out repairs and modifications to optimize equipment performance.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and equipment serviced.
The successful candidate will be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a mechanical discipline, such as automotive engineering or fitting. A full UK driving licence is also essential for this role, which involves occasional travel to other locations.
Requirements:- Previous experience working with diesel engines or industrial pumps.
- Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and ability to deliver high-quality workmanship.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a mechanical discipline.
- Full UK driving licence.
