About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Palliative Care Clinical Educator at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and leading clinical education programs to enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead clinical education programs to ensure staff proficiency in caring for patients with palliative care needs.
  • Organize and deliver clinical training programs to meet the learning needs of the clinical workforce.
  • Maintain and develop clinical expertise to act as an expert resource to colleagues.
  • Work clinically with staff to improve their assessment and management of palliative care patients.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Nurse for Cancer and Palliative Care and Clinical Educators to deliver inter-professional point of care teaching programs.
Requirements
  • NMC registration.
  • Certificate in education or equivalent teaching certificate.
  • Mentor/Assessor Qualification.
  • Relevant Professional Degree.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Leadership Course.
