We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Four Seasons Health Care. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our care homes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our care homes and surrounding grounds.
  • Undertake planned maintenance of the home, ensuring excellent first impressions for visitors.
  • Ensure the smooth operation and serviceability of all services, including heating, lighting, plumbing, and non-medical equipment.
  • Maintain the home's exterior, including pathways, driveways, plants, and external lighting.
  • Identify and report maintenance defects, ensuring compliance with essential checks.
  • Engage proactively with stakeholders to ensure all allocated tasks are carried out effectively and efficiently.
  • Undertake decorating, minor refurbishment, and maintenance within the home.
  • Provide out-of-hours emergency service by participating in the on-call rota and providing temporary cover for sister homes.
  • Assist with fire and water risk assessments and reviews.
  • Carry out plumbing, joinery, and general building repairs to a good standard.
  • Maintain the company vehicle and carry out basic safety checks.
