Job Opportunity

This is a permanent role with a full-time 40 hour per week schedule, requiring availability to work shifts between 7am and 5pm Mon-Fri, with some Saturday shifts on a rotational basis. You will have time off in lieu.

We are seeking a reliable individual with manager or supervisory experience to work closely with the Store Manager. You must be comfortable managing colleagues in their absence.

This role involves serving customers, developing relationships, CRM, opening/closing the store, analysing financial reports, fulfilling telephone/email orders and mixing paint as required. This is not an exhaustive list.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional customer service experience
  2. Carry heavy tubs of paint, requiring a good level of fitness and mobility
  3. Be IT literate
  4. Work as part of a small, close-knit team
  5. Able to work with minimal supervision
  6. Display the right behaviours and work ethic
  7. Consistency in previous roles
  8. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  9. Driving may be required, so you must feel comfortable driving the store van for deliveries
  10. 21 years old or over, with no more than 9 points on your license and at least two years driving experience
  11. Experience of supervising or ambition to be a manager
  12. Attention to detail
  13. Organised
  14. Structured
  15. Willing to delegate tasks and manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager
  16. Ability to make decisions
  17. Ideal background in sales and retail

Salary is £26,600 per annum, with bonuses.
