Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Human Factors Specialist to support our Lead HFI Specialist in integrating Human Factors into our design process. The successful candidate will engage with end-user groups and stakeholders through workshops, trials, and User-Centred Design activities.

The ideal candidate will conduct analyses such as allocation of function, task analysis, and usability assessments. They will also evaluate prototypes and mock-ups of our hardware and software solutions.

Additionally, the Human Factors Specialist will contribute to customer deliverables by producing detailed reports.

Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology, or a related field. Registered membership of the Chartered Institute of Human Factors (or equivalent eligibility) is also required.

At least five years of Human Factors experience in the defence or safety-critical sectors is essential. A proven ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams on complex system integration projects is also necessary.
