Job Description:

As a Senior Structural Engineer at Risktec Solutions Ltd, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of construction engineering, safety case updates, and project management to several major projects within the nuclear power generation sector. Your expertise will be utilized to provide specialist civil/structural input and advice to resolve construction problems, and to produce formal technical reports, safety cases, and other project deliverables on time and to budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of major construction-based safety cases
  • Provide specialist civil/structural input and advice to resolve construction problems
  • Production of formal technical reports, safety cases, and other project deliverables on time and to budget
  • Implementation of modifications to site, including supporting construction team and client during the construction process through problem solving
  • Authoring testing and commissioning strategies and functional test procedures
  • Management of projects, project teams, and interfacing with clients

Requirements:
  • Knowledge and experience of construction sites and compliance with CDM regulations
  • The ability to travel within the UK
  • Experience within nuclear engineering would be beneficial but is not expected
