Our client, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuous running of the production process.
We have a permanent vacancy for a Mechanical Bias Maintenance Engineer on rotating days.
Key Responsibilities- Provide effective and efficient planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance to minimize production losses.
- Ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance.
- Diagnose, resolve, and eliminate root causes of mechanical engineering faults.
- Design, trial, and implement minor equipment modifications to support increased performance.
- Complete all scheduled, planned corrective, reactive, and improvement maintenance as allocated.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of allocated annual equipment overhauls.
- Apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 in a mechanical engineering discipline in maintenance engineering.
- Experience in mechanical fitting, hydraulics, and pneumatics is an advantage.
- Experience in fabrication and welding is preferred.
