Pump Industry Account Executive

GAP Group Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced Pump Industry Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize revenue opportunities from existing major account customers in the UK.
The successful candidate will have significant experience working in a sales or engineering role within the Pumps or Power industry, with a proven track record of driving business growth and developing new accounts.
You will work closely with our existing Area Sales team in the region to develop new business and depot accounts into our Regional Account portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue opportunities from existing major account customers
- Work closely with the Area Sales team to develop new business and depot accounts into the Regional Account portfolio
- Carry out regular visits to main offices and customer sites to build relationships and identify new business opportunities
- Assist with the production of tenders and proposals to secure new business
- Ensure effective resolution of customer queries and issues
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of the Pumps or Power industry and its challenges
- Significant experience working in a sales or engineering role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Word, and CRM systems
- A valid driving licence
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a bonus scheme and a range of benefits including company car, up to 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and a contributory pension scheme.
