AWE plc is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Facility Manager to deliver and lead professional engineering services, enabling the Principal Asset Engineer to fulfill the strategy for the upkeep of all assets and equipment necessary for the company to deliver its mission.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying extensive field and technical knowledge to design intent, as-built standards, and system performance throughout the asset's lifecycle for facility systems and structures.


Key responsibilities will include:



  • Interpreting and delivering complex task requirements, including troubleshooting, quoting, reporting, design, commissioning, and handover
  • Leading and advising engineers in the delivery of innovative solutions to complex engineering problems
  • Identifying, escalating, and managing risks arising from engineered system and structure conditions
  • Ensuring adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements in a highly regulated environment
  • Engaging with company delivery and administrative requirements, supporting performance management and team progress

The successful candidate will have experience in leading engineering delivery across infrastructure facilities in highly regulated industries and will hold an HNC/HND/Level 4 qualification with suitable additional related experience.
