Job Title: Associate/Vice President - Fund Finance

Job Summary:

Crédit Agricole CIB is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate/Vice President to join our Fund Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for originating, structuring, and managing fund financing transactions, including capital call/subscription lines, for private equity, infrastructure, and real estate funds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate and structure fund financing transactions, including capital call/subscription lines, for private equity, infrastructure, and real estate funds.
  • Liaise with the coverage team to develop CLF business and client strategy.
  • Manage the credit process up to the final decision, including writing credit requests and presenting transactions to business and credit committees.
  • Transaction Management/Execution: draft and negotiate term sheets, facilities, and securities agreements, and review legal opinions/due diligences related to financing operations.
  • Participate in creating proposals and commercial origination to clients or prospects, developing the CACIB FSG franchise.
  • Dynamic monitoring of portfolio facilities, including issuing guarantees, negotiating and monitoring amendments and waivers, managing the banking syndicate, and annual reviews with the FSG Portfolio Management and respective FCS/Middle Office teams.
  • Active promotion of cross-selling within CACIB.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments within the Fund Finance, Private Equity, Infrastructure, and Real Estate industries and with CRÉDIT AGRICOLE CIB products for this market.
  • Produce call reports of client meetings and pitch documentation to update and disseminate information on clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree/BSc Degree or equivalent in Banking or related field.
  • Post-graduate or Diploma desirable.
  • Some prior experience in Corporate/Structured finance, including credit analysis/structuring/legal documentation.
  • Strong interest in the private equity industry.
  • Minimum +3 years experience in Fund finance experience/knowledge a strong plus.
  • Team player with a strong motivation to be part of a successful team in a large international bank.
  • Responsible and disciplined mindset with high sensitivity to risk and compliance issues.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Very good analytical and synthesis capacity.
  • Capacity to work under pressure.
  • Demonstrated capacities of negotiation with propensity for building long-term commercial relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent potential marketing/selling skills (product).
  • Good understanding of risk management.
  • Product knowledge/legal documentation.
  • English, French desirable.
