Job Summary:

As a registered Mental Health Nurse, you will be an integral member of Community Mental Health working as a Community Psychiatric Nurse providing assessment, care, support and treatment interventions to patients with a mental health illness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively in a safe, caring and respectful way.
  • Provide assessment, care, support and treatment interventions to patients with a mental health illness.
  • Join a service that is continually developing to meet the needs of our client group.
  • Manage your workload and have a commitment to partnership working with a range of stakeholders.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a well-developed knowledge of working with people with mental health problems and appropriate interventions.
  • Have sound organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.

Requirements:

  • Be educated to degree level or have a relevant post graduate qualification and experience relevant to job purpose.
  • Have a car owner/driver.
