NHS Grampian is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our Drug and Alcohol Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing assessment, care, support, and treatment interventions to individuals experiencing substance use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide comprehensive care to clients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments and provide interventions to address substance use and mental health issues
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices

Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with Part 3 of the NMC Register
  • Experience working with substance use and mental health issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
