Personal Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to provide support and companionship to a lady in need. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and handling administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene.
  2. Prepare meals and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  3. Handle letters, organize paperwork, and assist with administrative tasks.
  4. Manage phone calls and take messages as needed.
  5. Accompany the lady on shopping trips or assist with online shopping.
  6. Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance her overall well-being.
  7. Perform other reasonable duties as requested.

Requirements:

  1. Full UK driving license holder with appropriate business insurance cover.
  2. Calming, reassuring, caring, and patient demeanor.
  3. Understanding of the need for confidentiality and respect for privacy.

Desirable Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in a similar role.
  2. Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the lady's needs.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour.
  2. Hours and times of work: 4 hours per week, to be discussed further at interview.
  3. Annual holiday entitlement: equivalent to 5.6 consecutive weeks.
  4. Free Care Skills training provided.
  5. The post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
  6. Satisfactory references from two referees, one of whom must be the current or last employer.
  7. Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.
