About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineering Architect to join our team at easyJet. As a key member of our Quality Engineering function, you will be responsible for designing and implementing quality engineering solutions and test automation frameworks to ensure the highest level of quality in our products and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify quality engineering opportunities and challenges, and develop solutions to address them.
  2. Design and implement test automation frameworks and solutions to ensure efficient and effective testing.
  3. Work closely with solution architects and technical architects to ensure that quality engineering considerations are integrated into solution design.
  4. Develop and maintain quality engineering standards and best practices, and ensure that they are followed by the team.
  5. Identify and implement metrics to measure quality and effectiveness of testing, and provide insights to improve the overall quality of our products and applications.
  6. Collaborate with the QE transformation group to define best practices and standards, and contribute to QE practice level strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  1. Extensive experience in testing, quality engineering, and test automation solution design.
  2. Strong understanding of modern development methodologies and technologies, including cloud platforms and architecture.
  3. Experience with modern test automation technologies, such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, and languages such as Java, JavaScript, SQL, Python, and Shell.
  4. Ability to identify and implement metrics to measure quality and effectiveness of testing.
  5. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and advocate for quality engineering and test automation.
