About the Role

As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our residents. Your primary duties will include:

  • Providing individualized care and support to young people with complex needs
  • Developing and implementing personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and support
  • Participating in training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full manual driving license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Empathy and understanding of the needs of young people with challenging behavior
  • Good oral and written communication skills
