Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum for this freelance position. This includes access to a range of mandatory trainings, Outcomes Star training and licence, CPD opportunities, and discounted access to our NEST programme - Newly/recently qualified Music Therapist Development Programme.

Job Description

This role involves delivering group and individual music therapy sessions as part of full and half-day services across SEN primary, SEN secondary and mainstream primary schools. You will also be responsible for weekly clinical note-writing, carrying out individual assessments with reports and recommendations, managing and prioritising referrals, and using appropriate outcome measures to support goal-setting and service evaluation.

Requirements
  • HCPC registration and a DBS check
  • Confident and self-motivated individual
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Willing to travel to different locations throughout the week (some services will require equipment to be transported)
