Job Description

This role involves working within a busy environment, engaging with patients, relatives, and staff to provide spiritual care and support. The successful candidate will have empathy, organisational skills, and ability to work within a team.

You will be responsible for respectfully approaching patients, introducing yourself, and your role. You will listen to patient or carer stories, promote the work of the Chaplaincy, and build rapport with patients, staff, and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have previous pastoral experience, be licenced to take Holy Communion to the bedside, and have demonstrated resilience and sensitivity in their work.
