**Job Overview**

Halfords Group PLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motor Trade Manager to lead our Autocentre in Oxfordshire. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving business performance, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry, excellent leadership and team management skills, and experience delivering high customer satisfaction and effective management. You will also have the ability to motivate and develop your team, meet compliance standards across Health and Safety, and manage high sales turnover and KPI's.

**Salary and Benefits**

We offer a competitive salary of £33,207 - £39,634 per annum + bonus, along with a range of benefits including up to 50% off garage bills in our Autocentres, 25% off most Halfords products in our retail stores, discounts on groceries, shopping, insurance, days out, restaurants, and more, as well as access to hybrid training, pension scheme, life assurance, GP Access, Share save scheme, and Health Cash Plan.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Drive business performance and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Deliver training and development to team members.
  • Lead the team to success and provide an excellent customer journey and satisfaction.

**Requirements**

  • Fantastic leadership and team management skills within the automotive or similar industry.
  • Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and effective management.
  • Engaging and motivational, coaching-based approach to team development.
  • Experience meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety.
  • Experience with high sales turnover and managing KPI's.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • IT proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems.
  • Good time management.
  • A current valid driving licence.
