Job Title: 7.5t Driver

Job Type: Temporary Ongoing

Location: Plymouth

Shift Patterns: Various

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Main Responsibilities:
  • Safely deliver, install, and demonstrate white goods, televisions, and cookers into customers' properties.
  • Engage with customers, keeping them informed and ensuring delivery and installation is carried out to the highest standard.
  • Maintain regular contact with the site throughout the day to meet any changes to customers' delivery requests.
  • Ensure handheld operating devices are used correctly by completing visits and gaining customers' signatures.
  • Liaise with manufacturers at the point of delivery if necessary.
  • Able to meet the physical requirements of the role.
  • Ensure full compliance with all transport legislation and law.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Full UK/EC C1 driving licence with no more than 6 points on the licence.
  • Valid Digi Card and CPC card.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong verbal communication.
  • Flexibility with shift patterns.
  • Previous experience of installing electrical appliances.
  • Ability to utilise equipment and correctly handle products for a safe delivery.
  • Use initiative to problem solve.
  • Previous experience of driving a 7.5t vehicle.
  • DBS Check will be required.
