Pay: £14.00 per hour

Main Responsibilities:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5t driver to join our team at Berry Recruitment. As a 7.5t driver, you will be responsible for safely delivering, installing, and demonstrating white goods, televisions, and cookers into customers' properties.

Key Duties:

  1. Safely deliver and install white goods, televisions, and cookers into customers' properties.
  2. Engage with customers, ensuring delivery and installation is carried out to the highest standard.
  3. Maintain regular contact with the site throughout the day to meet any changes to customers' delivery requests.
  4. Ensure handheld operating devices are used correctly by completing visits and gaining customers' signatures.
  5. Liaise with manufacturers at point of delivery if necessary.
  6. Able to meet physical requirements of the role.
  7. Ensure full compliance with all transport legislation and law.

Requirements:

  • Full UK/EC C1 driving licence with no more than 6 points on licence.
  • Valid Digi Card and CPC card.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong verbal communication.
  • Flexibility with shift patterns.
  • Previous experience of installing electrical appliances.
  • Ability to utilise equipment and correctly handle products for a safe delivery.
  • Use initiative to problem solve.
  • Previous experience of driving a 7.5t vehicle.
  • DBS Check will be required.
