Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to join our Capstone Property Recruitment team in Oxford. Our client is a leading consultancy known for its multidisciplinary expertise across sectors including healthcare, infrastructure, education, and defense.
This firm manages both public and private sector projects that range from urban regeneration to complex, high-value healthcare facilities. They value innovative thinking, adaptability, and a solutions-oriented approach to project delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced project manager to contribute to impactful projects while mentoring a talented project team.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Project Oversight: Manage all stages of project delivery, from feasibility and planning to final handover, ensuring each project aligns with the client's vision, budget, and timeline.
- Client and Stakeholder Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, managing senior-level relationships with key stakeholders and communicating project milestones and risks clearly.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor project teams, including junior managers and consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment that prioritizes professional growth.
- Financial and Risk Management: Develop, monitor, and adjust project budgets to ensure financial targets are met, implementing proactive risk mitigation strategies to secure project success.
- Quality Control and Compliance: Uphold the highest quality standards throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry best practices, regulatory standards, and sustainability objectives.
- Process Improvement: Champion process improvements within the team, using insights and industry knowledge to identify and implement efficiencies across project workflows.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 7 years of experience in project management within high-stakes sectors such as healthcare, infrastructure, defense, or education, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects successfully.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong organisational, communication, and leadership abilities, with proven skills in managing diverse project teams and maintaining focus on strategic project outcomes.
