  • Main Duties
    • Support various teams within the Health Records department, focusing on keyboard skills, data inputting, and manual handling of healthcare records.
  • Key Responsibilities
    • Work efficiently with display screen equipment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
    • Develop strong communication skills to interact with staff and stakeholders effectively.
  • Person Specification
    • Basic numeracy and literacy skills are essential for this role.
    • GCSE level qualifications in English and Maths are required.
    • Awareness of NHS policies and procedures is beneficial.
  • Working Environment
    • Previous experience in an office setting and dealing with customers is advantageous.
    • Ability to remain calm under pressure is essential.
  • Confidentiality
    • Knowledge of the General Data Protection Act 1998 and the Access to Records Act 1990 is required.
    • Confidentiality of patient and staff information must be maintained in accordance with NHS policy.
