Job Overview

TVS Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at our Lutterworth campus. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in improving future forecasting and driving business decisions to support the success of our warehouse sites and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with data from various sources to understand demand profiles and optimize field requirements and returns.
  • Explore the use of AI and machine learning tools to transform logistical and warehousing areas of the business.
  • Develop reports to measure success of supply chain and warehouse processes and provide insights to operations teams.
  • Support the production of regular reporting streams for business reviews and ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with business leadership to understand their needs and identify opportunities for data-driven decision making.
  • Attend monthly account review meetings and report on current and delivered initiatives.
Requirements
  • Minimum A-Level standard or equivalent education.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data management tools.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and logistics industry.
  • Experience extracting data from Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Previous experience creating and automating detailed forecasts.
  • Enthusiasm for creating change and implementing AI and machine learning solutions.
