Social Care Worker

Job Summary: Centred seeks a dedicated individual to join our team in Inverness to support service users with mental health needs. The successful candidate will work in a recovery centre setting, providing a warm, supportive environment that encourages personal growth, development, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support service users to live an active, independent lifestyle and maintain their tenancy.
• Assist service users in accessing financial support and developing their social skills.
• Collaborate with the Community Services Manager/Assistant Community Services Manager to support volunteers and students as required.
Essential Requirements:
• Willingness to undertake and achieve SVQ Social Services and Health Care Level 2, which is a requirement for SSSC registration.
• Commitment to engaging with mandatory training and other learning opportunities.
• Basic computer skills, including the use of email communication.
Desirable Requirements:
• Previous experience of working in health and social care.
• Full driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Standards of Practice: The post holder will be personally responsible for registering with SSSC, maintaining their registration, and complying with any requirements relating to registration set out by SSSC. They must also take personal responsibility for being familiar with and implementing the quality areas outlined by the Care Inspectorate.
