About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Speech & Language Therapist to join our team at RGH-Global Ltd. As a Speech Therapist Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive specialist assessments and providing recommendations and interventions for individuals with suspected autism and/or ADHD.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct diagnostic neurodevelopmental/specialist developmental assessments with children and young people
  2. Work with children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health difficulties in a clinical setting
  3. Apply knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and appropriate assessment tools for autism and ADHD
  4. Write up assessment reports and maintain accurate records
  5. Supervise and support junior staff members as experience allows

Requirements:

  • HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist
  • Experience conducting diagnostic assessments with children and young people
  • Experience working with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health difficulties
  • Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and relevant assessment tools
  • Report writing and record keeping skills
  • Additional qualifications in autism and/or ADHD an advantage
