Administrative Assistant

As a key member of the USA Mortgage team, you will provide administrative support to our Mortgage Loan Originators. Your responsibilities will include making copies, preparing files, and scheduling appointments. Additionally, you will conduct preliminary research on loan applications to determine mortgage eligibility and input data into our database.
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual with 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. A 2-4 year college degree or equivalent experience is required. You should have experience with Encompass or equivalent software and basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
A successful candidate will also possess knowledge of the mortgage lending industry and its products, including Conventional, FHA, and VA loans. Understanding of current RESPA laws and guidelines is essential. Excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and a team player attitude are also necessary.
Requirements:
- 2-4 year college degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience or training
- Experience with Encompass or equivalent software
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of the mortgage lending industry and its products
- Understanding of current RESPA laws and guidelines
